Danny Campbell

Meet Danny, our newest SSA at Portage DD!

Before joining our team, Danny worked as an Investigative Agent at the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities (MCBDD) and previously served as an SSA there as well. His experience and passion for supporting individuals and families make him a wonderful addition to Portage DD.

Danny shared that he wanted to become an SSA because he enjoys working closely with families and creating plans that help individuals build independence and achieve their goals.

He chose Portage DD because of its strong commitment to person-centered support and empowering individuals to live the lives they choose. Danny said he was drawn to the organization’s reputation for valuing dignity, choice, and independence and wanted to be part of a team that truly upholds those values.

Outside of work, Danny enjoys spending time with his family, following the NBA and NFL, and catching up on some well-deserved sleep.
