The Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to recognize Tasheana Bradford as a Portage DD Direct Support Professional (DSP) Award Recipient. Tash works for EPIC and was nominated by Emilee Clites.

Here is what Emilee had to say about Tasheana: Tash should be considered for a nomination because she is simply just amazing. Tash is the mother to 4 beautiful children. She never misses. Between juggling her work life and her home life she never complains. She always comes in with a positive attitude and works so hard. You will never see her cry or complain. She is the definition of a DSP angel. She is so kind, and so caring. If I could nominate her a million times over I would. Tash not only as a coworker but as a friend I admire your strength and who you are as a person. Your values make you, you and I’m so proud of you because you keep going no matter how hard things are! Thank you for being you.  I know I’m so grateful to know you I can only imagine how our clients feel!

This award is an opportunity to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities while also promoting independence and inclusion.

Individual award recipients will receive public recognition from Portage DD and be promoted on our social media channels. Award recipients will also later be considered for Direct Support Professional of the Year.

All nominations will be kept on file for review and consideration for a period of 12 months after initial submission.
