Limitless Art Show Call for Artists
In honor of DD Awareness Month, the Portage County Board of DD is seeking works of art created by those with Developmental Disabilities to be displayed throughout Portage County.
The LIMITLESS Art Show aims to showcase the many talents of our Portage County community.
Art will be displayed at various locations around Portage County from Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to Tuesday, April 28 2026.
The Limitless Art Show Closing Ceremony & Art Sale will be Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the North Water Brewing Company (101 Crain Ave, Kent, OH 44240)
Submission Requirements:
Preference will be given to Artists eligible for services from Portage County DD or students in special education programs within Portage County schools. We also welcome those wishing to support the artists.
Artists may submit up to 3 works.
Submission Deadline:
Art must be dropped off , at Portage DD’s Happy Day Services Building (2500 Brady Lake Rd) not later than 3PM on March 13 2026.
When dropped off all artwork must have a” green card” (provided by Portage DD at time of drop off) filled out with:

Whether the art is for sale

Entry number (provided by Portage DD)
Display Notifications:
Artists will be notified of their artwork’s display location by April 1, 2026.
Art Sale & Pick-Up:
Artwork for sale will be available during the Closing Reception & Art Sale on April 28, 2026, at North Water Brewing Company.
Art sale proceeds go directly to the artist or can be donated to disability awareness organizations if preferred.
Cash is preferred for art purchases.
Artists present at the event will receive cash payments (when possible) for sold works that evening.
Unsold or NFS artwork can be picked up after the event or before June 1, 2026, at Portage DD’s Happy Day Services Building (2500 Brady Lake Rd).
