Join the Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities at the Kent State University Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 6!
The parade will step-off at 10:00 a.m. from the Kent State University campus and will proceed west on Main Street. The parade will conclude at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Franklin Avenue in downtown Kent, Ohio.
Parade participants should plan on arriving no later than 9:30 AM.
Parade vehicles will be lined up at the corner of Midway Dr. and Main St. in Kent. The Board will have both a maroon truck and yellow school bus in the lineup. Please search for these vehicles upon arriving.
Parking is available both on campus and downtown. Individuals are welcome to park in a variety of campus lots near the lineup. Participants can exit the parade at its conclusion downtown, or be shuttled back to their vehicle by Portage DD staff.
